Reset Prospect Scores to 0 in Pardot

If you reset your prospects’ scores to zero using an automation rule and in the future you modify your baseline scoring rules, your prospects will be retroactively rescored and their scores may increase or decrease from zero.

For this reason, make any changes to your baseline scoring model (in Admin > Scoring Rules) before running a reset automation rule. Keep in mind, it can take some time for the scoring model changes to fully propagate through the account, depending on your database size. As such, we recommend waiting at least 24 hours after making the changes before resetting scores to 0 using Automation Rule.

Here’s How it’s Done:

Reset all Prospects’ (or just a select few)┬áscores back to zero with an┬áAutomation Rule.┬á

  • Go┬áto Marketing > Automation > Automation Rules > Add New Automation Rule
  • Add the desired criteria to that a prospect would meet to the Rules section
  • Add rule Action “Adjust Prospect Score > To > 0”┬á
  • Save Automation Rule┬á
